Bois Fumé is a warm mid tone natural brown shade. Smoked wood, or bois fumé in French, is a time-honored tradition of treating wood to bring out the natural darkened tones, changing the wood’s tannins in the process. It also makes the appearance more luminous, casting a glow from within that is impossible to replicate using heavy surface stains.
