Due to the pandemic, we are extending our return policy from 15 days to 45 days.

If 45 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can't offer you a refund or exchange. 

• You are responsible for all return shipping costs
• The product cannot be returned if it has been installed, removed and then return to package. Your order must be in its original packaging and be in the same “as new” and re-sellable condition as it was when it arrived at your home or job site.

To start a return, you can contact us at customerservice@theflooringadvisor.com with order number and reason for the return. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you farther instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Special orders and certain types of items cannot be returned, such as Vinyl Flooring, Engineered or personalized items, and water-based products in the winter. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved. Refunds are issued 3-7 business days after the product has been received and it will be automatically refunded on your original payment method.
